The constant combining of thoughts  to form events creates our reality.  To assume that you could even comprehend the number of thoughts that form and flow at speeds that can approach the speed of light is an over achievement.  Electrical current flows at speeds that approach the speed of light, so does then formation of magnetic lines, not to mention light itself in all  its varied forms.  I mention these because they all  are involved in the creating process of thoughts.  You can have numerous thoughts within a single second.  Your heart beats, blood flows, food digests, you breath, walk, talk, think all at the same time; all of which are composed of mental processes or thoughts.]]></description>

Are you not doing the same as those who use buzzwords??  You say here that the average person has 12,000 to 50,000 thoughts per day.  I presume these are identifiable thoughts since you give the thought of the grocery clerk as an example..

There are only 8600 seconds in the day. Can it truly be said that you could have more than one thought per second in content equivalent to the grocery clerk thought??
